Product description

This is an original Shark Cove production which allows the user to view all the Messier Objects in equal fields of view. You can select either 30' or 60' fields. The display window is round to more closely simulate an eyepiece view. With M++ you now can see the apparent size of all these objects with respect to one another. If you have ever seen pictures of all the Messier Catalog Objects in a single source, then you have invariably noticed that M31 and M51 are pictured the same size. This can be confusing for a beginner who doesn't know exactly what to see when trying to locate an object with a telescope. M++ eliminates this confusion. Additionally, there is a circular overlay that approximates the size of the Moon (on average) which is a great aid in estimating the size of the object you're searching for. Each object is referenced by catalog number, common name, constellation, apparent magnitude and RA/Dec coordinates. A handy logging facility is included to record your observing sessions. The user interface is boarderless and transparent. Thus you can float it on a darkened desktop during field use and preserve your night vision. Pop-up help tips are associated with all displays and controls.
